What is Sunless Spray Tanning? Sunless Spray Tanning is the spray/mist application of Sunless Tanning Solution to your body. When applied, DHA (the active ingredient in Sunless tanning solution) reacts with the proteins in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown color. Your skin begins to darken immediately after application then reaches its peak color within 6 hours with our Instabronze Solution. It goes on Clear then develops in about 6 hours with our Clear Solution. With natural exfoliation, the tan will gradually fade, just like a tan from the sun.
How should I prepare for my Spray Tanning Session? It is best to exfoliate and shave the day before or the day of your Spray Tanning Session (day before is preferred). Refrain from using moisturizers, perfumes, lotions, oils or deodorants that may create a barrier on the skin the day of your Session. You may resume using these after your first shower or bath.
How long does Sunless Spray Tanning Last? A Sunless Spray Tan can last up to 5-7 days depending on the the condition of your skin and formulation you choose.
How long should I wait to shower afterwards? Please wait a minimum of 4-6 hours after a Sunless Spray Tanning session to give the DHA time to fully set. The intensity of the tan may fade by showering sooner.
